Bistro napkins are a recent addition to the napkin family.  They are a smaller version of the Guest Towel, but measure about 2.5-inches by 7-inches folded.  They are about 14-inches square unfolded.  It is believed that bistro napkins are the result of western dining where the table can become very full and thus the napkin is folded to a smaller size.  It is common for bistro napkins to be substituted for guest towels or dinner napkins.  How many bistro napkins do you need for your party?
